Which English course should I start with?

Your starting level depends on your confidence and ability. Beginners usually start with Spoken English (A1/A2). Learners seeking fluency join Intermediate English (B1/B2). Advanced learners aiming for near-native proficiency choose Advanced English (C1/C2).

What is the CEFR framework?

CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is an international standard that measures how well a learner can use English in real-life situations, from A1 (Beginner) to C2 (Proficiency).

Is Business English different from Spoken English?

Yes. Spoken English focuses on general communication, while Business English is designed for professional settings such as emails, meetings, presentations, interviews and workplace communication.

Do I need to complete all levels before joining Business English?

It is recommended that learners complete at least Upper Intermediate English (B2) before joining Business English to benefit fully from professional communication training.

Are classes conducted online or offline?

All English courses at De Sales Language Academy are conducted offline at our Kammasandra centre near Electronic City, Bangalore.

Students are placed through a counselling discussion and level assessment that evaluates speaking confidence, grammar usage and comprehension.
